Early Life
James Fallon was born on 19 September 1974in Brooklyn, New York City. His parents were Gloria and James W. Fallon. His family is of German, Irish and Norwegian descent. His father used to sing on the streets in his early years before going to serve in the war at Vietnam. It was after James Fallon’s birth that he began working as a machine repairman. Fallon described his parents as being overprotective of him, given the fact that they were only allowed to ride their bicycles in their backyard and not to leave their home backyard.
His time as an altar boy made him consider priesthood but he was later interested in comedy. He then began listening to comedy shows at night from the radio.
Personal Life
Fallon is a passionate Roman Catholic which he developed interest in while being an altar boy. He even disclosed that he was pleased with the smell of incense.
He is married to producer Nancy Juvonen. The two are blessed with two daughters.
Career
Fallon began pursuing his career in comedy after dropping out of college therefore missing out on his degree in communications. He began by performing stand-up comedy and had earned through this. He even attended classed to improve his performance.
His dream, however, was to feature in the Saturday live show for which he auditioned for in the year 1997 but was not successful. He later got the job after a series of auditions and trials thereafter. He has since featured on a number of TV shows and hosted prominent people who include fellow actors, comedians, musicians and politicians.
Jimmy also pursued a career in acting and featured in the movie Taxi, that did not receive the popular welcoming from the public as intended.
